On this Valentine’s Day 2021, the MTMS PTA would like to acknowledge the love and grace that you, the Mt Tabor Middle School Community, have shown each other by expressing our love and gratitude to all of you.

Over the winter holiday, an effort led by the MTMS PTA, in coordination with the MTMS School Counselors and Administrative Team, was organized  to raise funds to help support families in our school affected by the pandemic.  The PTA issued a direct appeal to the community and we were blown away by the response.  In total, an amount of nearly $14,000 was raised.  Using a pre-determined process to uncover need and distribute fairly; School Counselors and Administration saw all of those dollars directly distributed to members of the MTMS Community.

Too much time has passed in recognizing this incredible effort by all.  As we approach a time when our children will return to school in-person, may we all continue to work, coordinate and collaborate to see all of our Students, Teachers and Parents receive the support they need.

I hope this is one of many messages of love and grace that you receive this Valentine’s Day.
