I hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday this past week. Personally, I am finding myself still playing a bit of catch-up. But before we look forward to the coming week- a hearty THANK YOU to those that helped feed our teachers on Conference Days! The teachers appreciated the effort and hopefully many of you were able to take advantage of the opportunity to check in on your Students. With that said, the week ahead….

THIS WEEK ONLY:

FLASH PTA meeting on Tuesday, December 3rd @ 6:30pm

We will be having a previously unscheduled PTA Meeting on Tuesday, December 3rd at 6:30pm to discuss two major topics:

1. The formation of a Jazz Band at Mt Tabor Middle School and the funding of such
2. The integration of the Mt. Tabor Middle School PTA and the Mt Tabor Middle School Foundation

These and any other outstanding topics of business will be discussed during the meeting. Please attend this meetings if you have interest in either of these issues and would like to contribute to the conversation!!

Opportunity to Engage with Students and Facilitate a FUN, Community-Building, Fund Raising Activity!!

The PTA is very excited to make Movie Nights a more regular “thing” at Mt. Tabor. Would you be willing to help coordinate? We are looking for Parents who are able to share their time with our young folk to help build community among our students, facilitate a wholesome good time, and help raise money for the school. Help a Family – Help your Community! Thursday, December 12th from 9:30am-1:30pm

Thursday, Dec. 12th is Mt Tabor Middle School’s day to send 5-6 volunteers from 9:30am -1:30pm, to help kids receive clothing and to help sort donations so there are lots of choices for kids to see.

We are located at the Marshall (Madison HS) Campus; 3905 SE 91st, Room B-60. Please have volunteers check in at the Madison school office, then come up to help out.
